Group Name: CSR/Sustainability Meetup Worldwide

Speaker: Dr Anuja Prashar

This group meets every two weeks on a Wednesday as of Jan 20th 2021 (12.30pm New York, 17.30 London, 18.30 Geneva, 20.30 Nairobi, 23.00 Mumbai/New Delhi) and has been running for ten years. The Meetups were initially founded by Michael Hopkins to promote intellectual exchanges between top professionals drawn from academia, United Nations, private industry, NGOs and social enterprises.

Anuja is Kenyan born, Lecturer in International Business at KCA UNIVERSITY. A mother of 4 daughters, her educational record includes BA in Economics, MSc in Race & Ethnic Relations and Doctoral thesis focused on: Relational Role of CSR in Emerging Economies - India & Kenya. The research focuses upon the role of CSR and the relationship between Business, Government & Third Sector from a global south perspective.

Anuja is the founder & Director of APP Consulting – Applying Excellence to Cross Cultural Exchanges by promoting increased cultural awareness and understanding. “My goal for the future is to create a business environment where we can collectively shape an inclusive globalisation, for the needs of a global 21st Century, by raising awareness of the impact of historical habitus, global context & future Developmental Issues, through corporate social responsibility and business sustainability”.
