Intro to: Git SCM

Chris Schmitz, one of the founders of FoxCitiesPHP and a master of the GIT, will be sharing some serious knowledge about... well, GIT. Starting with some basics on the benefits of GIT and how to get it all set up (on both Windows and Mac, oh my!), Chris will dive down into the terminology and processes (branches, forks, merges, and more) and how to be part of the new cool kids club, GitHub. There will also be some discussion on GIT workflow and best practices. Oh yeah, and did we mention that it'll be about GIT?
