Dr. Stovsky is a senior urology/oncology surgeon and is also a member of the leadership of Cleveland Clinic Ventures and Cleveland Clinic Innovations - the technology development and commercialization arms of the “The Clinic”.
Mark will share with us the process of new company formation and biomedical technology commercialization at Cleveland Clinic, with a focus on the digital health arena.
Using real world examples, he will discuss ‘hot’ areas of innovation, key criteria for formal analytic due diligence, and how innovation (internal and external) is evaluated, tested (clinical, pilot) and commercialized at this preeminent American academic medical center.
In addition, he will discuss some of the key issues and pitfalls investors usually overlook in assessing the risk associated with early stage life science investments and will showcase a highly effective tool that assists in this complex stage of the investment decision making.
This MeetUp is sponsored by Greenberg Traurig (http://www.gtlaw.com/Locations/Tel-Aviv)
