Topic: making impact from the periphery
Most of the big decisions in politics, finance, and research get made in a handful of cities. So what does that mean if you're not there? We'll explore where distance from 'the action' is a real constraint, where being in a smaller city is actually an asset, and how to think about maximizing your impact without necessarily being close to the centre of things.
This is a relaxed dinner — good food, good conversation, and a mix of people who are new to effective altruism and people who've been involved for a while. All are welcome!
