EA Meetup With Talks

As usual, we begin with a short introductory talk on Effective Altruism in general followed by this month's topic.
This time Johanna, a local group member, will report on this year's Lokalgruppentreffen (EA local group meetup) and share her reflections on meeting many other group organizers. She will focus on the landscape of German local groups and how they compare to what we do in Munich, as well as on the topic of community building and how the Netzwerk für Effektiven Altruismus Deutschland (which was founded at the meeting) might shape the German EA community in the future. Afterwards we will discuss how we in Munich see our group and want it to evolve and whether we can somehow leverage what Johanna reported earlier.

You can then grab some snacks and drinks and continue the discussion informally as long as you'd like.
