High-Impact Philanthropy for Animals and the Planet: ACE and Giving Green

Join us for a dual presentation from Animal Charity Evaluators and Giving Green on their 2022 giving recommendations!

Animal Charity Evaluators (ACE) is a nonprofit that evaluates and recommends charities to drive capital towards the most effective ways to help animals. Similarly, Giving Green is a research nonprofit that evaluates the cost-effectiveness of climate change initiatives and organizations. Elisabeth from ACE and Dan from Giving Green will both talk about their work, methodologies, and recommendations, as well as any recent updates from their organizations. Afterwards, there will be time for a joint Q&A.

Dr. Elisabeth Ormandy is the Director of Research at Animal Charity Evaluators, and comes from a diverse background in animal welfare and ethics, policy change, and nonprofit management.

Dr. Dan Stein is Giving Green's co-founder and director, as well as the Chief Economist at IDinsight. Prior to IDinsight, Dan worked as an Economist at the World Bank, where he launched a program of impact evaluations in energy and environment.
