Hear from One For The World and Giving What We Can representatives about the pressing need for effective giving across causes and across the world!

Savita Deo and Fernando Martin-Gullans will present on the two organizations and what you can do to help people and animals today and in the future. Following the presentations, there will be time for Q&A with both of the speakers.

Savita Deo is the Organizing Manager for One For The World, working with undergraduate and graduate chapter leaders as they inspire their campus community to take the 1% pledge; this includes developing and implementing chapter strategy, motivating and educating chapter leaders, and working to incorporate community organizing principles into chapter outreach.

Fernando Martin-Gullans is a professional ballet dancer and founder of Artists of Impact: a global community of artists committed to helping others in the most effective ways possible. He's been a Giving What We Can pledge member since 2020, committing to give 10% of his lifetime income to highly effective charities. Fernando has worked professionally with ballet companies such as the Royal Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Birmingham Royal Ballet.
