#### ABOUT: Drone Lab + Open Projector
A Night of Collective Sound + Vision.
Every 3rd Friday
Join us for an evening of improvised ambient music and live visuals. Everyone's welcome, whether you want to play, project, or just relax and listen.
What happens: Musicians and sound artists create evolving ambient soundscapes together using instruments, voice, or sound equipment. Visual artists and VJs share abstract videos and experimental imagery on screen. Think part performance, part meditation, part creative experiment. Each night is different depending on who participates.
How to join in
- Music: Open to everyone, anytime during the event. Bring your instrument or use ours.
- Visuals: First-come, first-served slots (15-20 minutes each). Bring your laptop.
The vibe: There’s no setlist, no headliner, just a free-flowing mix of collaboration and exploration. You can join in or relax in the cozy lounge area and take it all in. Feel free to move between the main space, bar, or backyard art installation anytime.
No intermissions. Shoes off inside.

#### ABOUT: VoicePlay
A healing group exploration of authentic expression using breath, voice, and embodied play.
VoicePlay is a safe space to play with voice as a tool for healing and expression.
Come explore your embodied expression in this cozy afternoon of somatic and vocal exploration and experimentation. We will play with vocal improvisation, relaxation of the body, deep listening, traditional somatic practices and connection with the inner sounds waiting to be expressed!
We begin with stretches and breathing exercises to relax the body and open the flow of expression. We then move to a playful voice exploration, creating a safe and brave space to play with voice and movement as tools for healing and expression as a group, including unpitched sounds as well as traditional singing warm-ups.
We will explore and be silly with the curiosity of the inner child. The workshop concludes with a group voice and movement improvisation.
You will not be asked to sing or perform alone in front of the group. Think free form dance with vocal expression as a central focus!
Bring a water bottle, wear clothes for movement and dance, and please arrive on time.
The doors will close promptly and the workshop will begin at 1:15pm.

"One of the great pleasures of making music with others is when all musicians are in sync, aware of each other, listening to the separate streams of each instrument merging into a river of greater sound and meaning ... A new field of consciousness is generated. It is a palpable experience"

The idea is to let go and allow ourselves to play.
There are no audiences at an Ego Free Jam. We're all participants, even when we're just quietly enjoying the groove. Jams include musicians and sound makers of all experience levels. They are safe spaces where we explore our creativity and where we strive to support others in their explorations.
Dancing, stretching, and art making are welcome.
The Delight Factory has three areas, the main area is for music making, the bar and back yard areas are for conversations.WHY ‘EGO FREE’?
The ego is the part of us that wants to keep us safe in the world and tries to make us NOT do something. It shows up as fear and embarrassment. When we get the urge to "do it right” out of the way, we can play, improvise, take a little risk, mess up, see that it didn't kill us, and feel the delight in that piece of freedom.DO I NEED TO BE A MUSICIAN?
Not at all. You can pick up an instrument and improvise, vocalize, move your body, make something, or just listen.WHAT TO BRING?
You are encouraged to bring an instrument, dancing body, art supplies, yoga mat, favorite toy, whatever inspires you and is fun for you. Or come as you are. We have percussion instruments, a piano, mics, & more.CAN I COME FOR PART OF IT?
Sure! Try and come before a jam starts but you're welcome any time. Stay for however long or briefly you want!THE SIX JAM GUIDELINES
