In December we’re delighted to be hosting Sustainably, a fintech for social good startup and Ginger, a full stack software agency building tech across fintech, charity and startup spaces.
1st Talk: “Serverless at Sustainably - Striving to deliver an awesome charitable giving platform with a lot of heart and with limited money, experience and time.”

Sustainably provides a new and frictionless way of giving through a platform where users are in total control, can give to a cause of their choice without giving away their identity and still get some great feedback on the impact of their donation.
This will be a story to illustrate what is possible with serverless technology told from the perspective of two CodeClan Graduates from otherwise quite different backgrounds. It is a tale of how serverless was used to build a scaleable product in a short time frame with limited resource, a lot of collaborative team-work and almost no physical infrastructure.

Mark from Ginger will be giving a talk about the various kinds of serverless tech used at Ginger over the years including FaaS and DaaS as well as the surrounding tech. Expect to see some code and perhaps some live coding.
