Cut the Crap: Does Innovation Regenerate or Deplete?
The Shepherd & The Steward — From Human Doing to Life-Centered Being
Innovation has become a reflex. A KPI. A growth strategy. Yet while innovation accelerated, ecosystems destabilised and inequality deepened.
So perhaps the problem is not that we innovate too little, but that we innovate from the wrong premise. What if its value depends entirely on whether it regenerates or depletes the living systems we are part of?
At this Meetup, we talk about the assumption that innovation is always good and explore how to manage the flock.
Featuring:
Walter Baets — Wicked Problems Officer at Eindhoven Engine & part-time shepherd
Chiara Treglia — Regenerative design steward & culture transformation expert
At this Meetup We explore what happens when innovation becomes an act of care rather than extraction.
Expect:
- Bold ideas
- Honest dialogue
- Challenging questions
- A room full of people who care about systemic change
Because the shift is not about controlling the flock, but learning how to move with it.
Can we cut the crap — and make innovation regenerative?
