We will take you to the most beautiful parts of Serbia with some breathtaking views of Tara Mountains, meanders and the caves.
- Day 1 - Dubai - Belgrade
Fly from Dubai to Belgrade. Hotel Checkin.
- Day 2 - Belgrade – Drina River, Perucac Lake – Tara Mountain – Zlatibor Mountain
Morning departure from Belgrade toward Western Serbia. On the way, stops at view point “Gate of Serbia” on Debelo Brdo, Drina Rover House and spring of the shortest river in Serbia, Vrelo. 2 – 3 hours kayaking on Perucac Lake which was made on Drina River. After kayaking short drive to Tara Mountain. Upon arrival, We will make a lunch break at Mitrovac – small village in the mountain. From there we walk through the pine forests to get to the most famous viewpoint in Serbia- Banjska Stena. From this vantage point, we will be looking over the impressive Drina Canyon and mountains in neighboring Bosnia. Late afternoon drive to Zlatibor. Hotel check in. Dinner and overnight.
- Day 3 - Zlatibor - Mokra Gora Mountain – Šargan Eight – Wooden-town – Zlatibor Mountain
After breakfast, drive to Mokra Gora (Tara Nature Resort area) where you will board at retro ‘Nostalgia’ train which runs along the narrow-gauge heritage railway, Šargan Eight. Travelling from the bottom of Šargan mountain on a route shaped like the number eight (hence the name), you will be transported back in time while enjoying the stunning mountain scenery and numerous tunnels and viaducts. At the beginning of the 20th century, the railway used to be a part of the railway from Belgrade to Sarajevo. After enjoying the breathtaking nature, you will arrive at the ethno village Drvengrad (Wooden Town), built by prominent movie director Emir Kusturica. Since 2008, the village plays host to the annual Küstendorf Film and Music Festival and Drvengrad. You can use your afternoon to enjoy a relaxing walk around the quaint town centre of this picturesque air spa (Zlatibor). Dinner. Overnight.
- Day 4 - Zlatibor - Uvac – Sirogojno
Breakfast and check-out. Departure from Zlatibor in the morning, transfer to Uvac Special Natural Reserve, located between the mountains Javor and Zlatar. The main attraction of the reserve is its population of griffon vultures. The griffon vulture is a relatively rare species of bird of prey whose population in Uvac is the biggest in Europe. The bird’s wing span is about 3 m and they can weigh up to 11 kg, making it the biggest bird in Serbia. The tour will take a boat trip and follow the river as it twists and turns through the impressive landscape, stopping at two caves called Ušak and Ledena (Ice). After the exciting boat trip, the tour will return to Zlatibor and visit Sirogojno, a village famous for its ethnological museum and ‘Sirogojno sweaters’ made of raw wool. You will see Ethnological exposition of the open-air museum known as the Old Village. Check-in in Old Village lodging cabins. Dinner and overnight.
- Day 5 - Sirogojno – Zlatibor Gold Gondola – Stopica Cave (Optional) - Sirogojno
You will have opportunity to experience the Zlatibor Gold Gondola Lift, the longest panoramic lift in the world (9km), it is a whole new tourist attraction. Nine kilometres long, the Gold Gondola Lift offers you a unique opportunity to enjoy the amazing view from the centre of the Zlatibor Mountain all the way to Tornik, its highest peak. Experience the stunning scenery of the lush Zlatibor meadows and the tranquillity of the Ribničko Lake. The view from the highest peak of Zlatibor stretches hundreds of kilometres and covers the entire astonishing landscape of Western Serbia. On the way back to Sirogojno, optional: Stopića cave is a river type cave, through which the Trnava stream flows. Several hundred meters of the cave are open for tourist visits, including the Light Hall, the Dark Hall and the Great Hall with pools. Although not characterized by a large number of cave decorations, it is known for its big tubs, thanks to which it is considered to be one of the most beautiful caves of Eastern Europe.
Post that you will be transfered back to Belgrade Airport for your departure flight at 10pm.
