Compilers and Stuff, by William Hatch

A quick overview of compilers and related software for dealing with programming languages.

William did a PhD focused on extensible and domain-specific programming languages, and has worked in industry on compilers since then.
He currently works as a compiler engineer at AMD.
So, ostensibly, he should know at least something about some of this stuff.
A presentation will be prepared to educate and provide a few hot takes, but feel free to ask any questions and just chat about compilers, interpreters, programming languages, etc.
