## Project Data Analysis Masterclass with SPSS & R (BSc, ND & HND)
Are you currently working on your final-year research project, thesis, or dissertation?
Analyzing survey and financial data can be one of the most stressful parts of completing your degree. Whether you are aiming to evaluate business strategies, financial performance, or customer management trends, doing the analysis yourself ensures you understand your findings deeply and are fully prepared to defend your work before your board or panel.
Join SoftData Consult in partnership with the Ekiti R Users Group for a practical, hands-on 2-hour live masterclass designed specifically for BSc, ND, and HND students in Business Administration, Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Marketing, and Office Technology Management.

### 🎯 What You Will Learn
In this live session, we will walk step-by-step through the entire practical workflow—from receiving raw questionnaire responses to writing your final conclusions:
- Questionnaire Data Setup (SPSS):
- Structuring Likert-scale responses into numerical datasets.
- Defining variables, measurement levels, and coding strategies.
- Cleaning missing data and handling reverse-coded statements.
- Reliability & Descriptive Statistics (SPSS):
- Evaluating internal scale consistency using Cronbach’s Alpha ($\alpha \ge 0.70$).
- Summarizing demographic profiles with frequency distributions, means, and standard deviations.
- Hypotheses Testing & Regression Analysis (SPSS):
- Testing classical model assumptions (normality and multicollinearity/VIF).
- Conducting Independent Samples $t$-tests and ANOVA to compare business groups.
- Running Multiple Linear Regression to evaluate relationship coefficients ($R^2$, $F$-statistic, $p$-values).
- Modern Visualization & Graphics (R / RStudio):
- Importing project datasets directly into R.
- Generating publication-ready correlation matrices using `ggcorrplot`.
- Building clean visual trend lines and plots with `ggplot2`.
- Reporting Chapter 4 & Thesis Defense Prep:
- Translating SPSS and R outputs into formatted academic tables.
- Applying decision rules to support or reject research hypotheses.
- Key tips for confidently explaining your statistical results to your project supervisor.
### 🛠️ Prerequisites & Requirements
- No prior statistical software experience required; this workshop starts from ground zero.
- Having SPSS and R / RStudio installed on your laptop is recommended if you wish to follow along, but not mandatory to benefit from the stream.
