El Palo People

This group is all about bringing people together in real life to enjoy good company and build genuine friendships.

Although the group is called El Palo People, you don't have to live in El Palo to join. It simply gives us a focal point for meeting and exploring the local area.

The group is open to anyone and welcomes both English and Spanish speakers. We'll use both languages, so it's also a great opportunity to improve your English or Spanish while meeting new people.

The focus is simple: spending time together and enjoying whatever activities the group is interested in. That might include:

Beach days and swimming
Going for coffee or drinks
Restaurants and tapas
Hiking and walks
Going to the gym
Playing poker or board games
Exploring Málaga and the surrounding area
Or anything else that the group would like to organise

I don't want to define the group too narrowly. Instead, we'll experiment, learn what people enjoy, and let the community shape its future.

I'm James, the organiser, and I'll be helping to get things started by creating events and encouraging people to participate. However, I want this to be a collaborative and democratic group where everyone's ideas and feedback are valued, and where we aim to make every meetup enjoyable for those who attend.

Most importantly, the goal is simple: to create real friendships and a welcoming community.

And finally, it's completely free. There are no membership fees or charges—just come along, meet people, and have a good time.
