🧘 The Meaning of Soka 2030 Chanting
Through chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, we cast off the transient or lesser self and reveal our true identity—an enlightened being existing since time without beginning. Chanting enables us to transform our lives from within and to develop the wisdom, courage, and compassion needed to create value in our daily lives.
When we gather to chant together, we also enact the transference of faith from mentor to disciple, a relationship that forms the foundation of Buddhism. The mentor–disciple relationship symbolizes the transmission of the Mystic Law across generations, empowering each individual to reveal their inherent Buddhahood and contribute to the happiness of humanity and the realization of world peace.
