Daemon by Daniel Suarez - El Paso Sci-Fi Book Club

Hello everyone!

During the last Meetup we picked Daemon (author: Daniel Suarez) as the fourth book for the book club.

Daemon brings readers on a harrowing journey through the dark crawl spaces of the modern world. It's a cutting-edge high-tech thriller that explores the convergence of MMOG's, BotNets, viral ecosystems, and corporate dominance—forces which are quietly reshaping society with very real consequences for us all.

We will use this upcoming Meetup to host a discussion on the book for whoever wants to participate.

The agenda will look like:

7:00 pm - Quick intro of new members, and waiting for everyone to join..

7:10 pm - Nomination of new books to add to the list (please, tell us about books you would like to nominate and we will add them to the list).

7:25 pm to 8:25pm - Book discussion. Participants can make comments about the book and initiate questions. We will try to keep the conversation fluid but under control :)

El Paso Public Library has copies of the book, however. there is currently no checkout service because of COVID from what I understand.
