When Egon shared his thoughts with me there was no connection to reality. Today, there is increasing evidence that the domestication of machines may be taking place. How will we be able to recognize the transformation? How will it affect society? Technologists, engineers, and their leaders will chart the path. We share responsibility for the outcome."
