Talks:
RAG: A Game-changing tool for Search Engines
In the finance industry, where accuracy and relevance are critical, we are thrilled to extend an invitation to an enlightening session that will walk you through Belfius’s innovative strategy to transform client search experiences. Discover how we’ve taken conventional search capabilities to the next level by infusing them with AI-powered insights using RAG, ensuring results are both pertinent and precise. We’ll share the hurdles we encountered and discuss the tools and solutions we developed to surmount these obstacles.
Join us for this insightful talk and witness the evolution of search engines in the banking world.
Speakers: Kevin Suys, Solution architect @Belfius & Victor Kubam, Functional Analyst @Belfius
Exploring the future of AI: GenAI Multi-Agent frameworks
In this talk, we delve into the fascinating world of GenAI Multi-Agents and Autogen. The session primarily focuses on the concept of multi-agents, a revolutionary approach in artificial intelligence that involves multiple intelligent agents interacting within an environment to achieve individual or shared goals.
We will explore how GenAI leverages this concept to create robust and efficient systems, and discuss some of the groundbreaking products and projects that have been developed using this technology. GenAI Multi-Agents are paving the way for a future where AI systems can work together seamlessly to solve complex problems.
Join us as we uncover the potential of multi-agent systems and how they’re shaping the future of AI.
Speaker: Pierre Malarme, Cloud Solution Architect @Microsoft
You Can’t Secure What You Can’t See: Building Trust in AI Agents
Join us for an insightful talk focusing on Generative AI and AI agents. We’ll cover what AI agents are, with a spotlight on LangChain, and discuss the risks associated with AI tooling. We’ll also delve into the importance of observability concerning latency and cost, share best practices for logging prompts, and explore techniques for detecting and mitigating prompt injection attacks. We’ll show how this can be done using Elastic.
Speakers: Philippe Bogaerts & Evelien Schellekens
Bios:
Pierre has accumulated a wealth of experience over a decade in R&D, with a focus on Big Data, Digital Health, Cloud technologies and AI. His career, rooted in a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, has spanned from academia—where he concentrated on semantic technologies and surgical workflow—to leading roles in tech companies, developing data governance solutions and innovative analytics platforms.
Currently, as a Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, he drives digital transformation and AI innovation, with a particular interest in GenAI Agentic Solutions. He also leads the Microsoft Developer Community in Belgium and Luxembourg, fostering a collaborative environment for technological advancements.
Kevin is a real time collaboration architect and has been working since the past 20 years in everything related to chat, messaging, video communication etc. Since recent years he has been combining this with Elasticsearch and thanks to gen-ai he can bring both domains together and starting chatting with the data 😉
Meet Victor Kubam, an experienced Data and Analytics consultant @EY Belgium with a rich background in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. With over a decade of cross-sectoral experience in Retail and Financial Services. He has recently turned his focus towards the exciting realm of Generative AI.
Philippe brings more than 20+ years of experience in security. About 8 years ago, containers and orchestration grabbed his attention and started researching (mostly as a hobby), the architecture and security aspects of these new emerging technologies, commonly used nowadays in (Gen)Ai and ML based applications. Today, Philippe contributes mostly by writing blog post xxradar.medium.com, talking at meetups as well as co-organizing the security conference brucon.org. During daytime Philippe is a solution architect at www.fortinet.com
Evelien is a Senior Solutions Architect at Elastic. She enjoys sharing knowledge through public speaking and interacting with the technical community. She’s passionate about observability and open source technologies like Kubernetes.
