Accessing ElasticSearch data from MS SQL Server using the Hive integration

In this session Liz Bowers will review the Apache Hive integration with ElasticSearch. This will cover the "how-to" for the integration configuration, highlighting the important setup configurations that's needed for Hive to work correctly with MS SQL Server.

She will be demonstrating how to query ElasticSearch data using Hive and will also show on how to write data to ElasticSearch from Hive.

After the integration topics, she will then go over how you can set up a linked server connection to Hive from MS SQL Server, and once connected, to query ElasticSearch from MS SQL Server.

Finally she will share lessons learned during her journey so that others can avoid frustrations that she has run into!
