Elastic on Kubernetes: Zero to Hero

Join the Houston Elastic User group for the first in-person meetup in over two years at Improving on Wednesday, January 25th, from 5:00-7:00 pm CST. We are joined by Joseph De la Rosa (Elastic Curriculum Architect) and Sunile Manjee (Senior Principal Solutions Architect @ Elastic), who will be presenting, Elastic on Kubernetes: Zero to Hero, followed by networking, pizza, and refreshments. Parking is in front of the building on the Richmond Ave side. If you try to enter from Westchase Drive, you can enter the parking garage, but you will only be able to park on the top level of the garage.

Kubernetes is becoming ubiquitous in today's enterprises and Elastic has tools to help the complexity work for you. Come hear how you might deploy and manage the Elastic stack in a Kubernetes environment. Sunile and Joe will walk through some methods for efficiently using the ECK Operator, Elastic's Terraform providers and new features like Fleet managed Agents interspersed with tools and tips we've picked up from the field.

Joseph De la Rosa - Curriculum Architect
Joe is a Curriculum Architect at Elastic, focused around training and content related to operating the Elastic stack in Kubernetes environments and using modern technologies like BPF and more. Previously he was a Consultant within Elastic's professional services group, focused on assisting customers in similar areas and before joining Elastic, worked in the analytics and data science organizations of EOG Resources and the Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.

Sunile Manjee - Senior Principal Solutions Architect
Sunile is a Senior Principal Solutions Architect at Elastic. As an open source first champion in the Data of Anything space, he has led and enabled unreasonably successful data strategies for several premier fortune 100s. He strives to simplify technical solutions through a value lens & ubiquitous language for complex business challenges.
