Elastic Stack 6.x was released in November. Michael Yuan, one of the Elastic Solutions Architects, will be giving a talk on the latest Elastic Stack 6.x features. We have things like rolling-major version upgrades, even more Lucene data structure optimizations, sequence IDs, saying farewell to _types, dashboard modes, automated cluster alerts, Logstash pipelines and a pipeline viewer, Beats integration with kubernetes and a whole raft of new Beats modules Michael will also share some features yet to come like Canvas and SQL.

Michael Yuan is a Solutions Architect at Elastic based in Miami, FL. Michael has spent the past 19 years providing technology solutions to solve complex business problems in different industries for high tech vendors such as Sun Microsystems, BEA Systems, Cloudera and now Elastic.

He will also prepare some visualizations and dashboards. He will go over the process his team follows for implementing Elasticsearch, all the experience with the installation, management, and dashboards.

Carols Hernandez Martinez is a TI & Telecommunications engineer, works on Axtel since 2007 on operations, giving tech support but accidentally convert on a Data Engineer. Using ETL process he was involved on the Big Data project during the last 3 years using Elastic stack for log analysis that helps Axtel reduce at 90% the log events.
