Welcome to the third Elastic Zagreb meetup, with another two talks for all your search related needs. ;)

This group is for anyone interested in open source search, logging, analytics, and data visualization. We primarily focus on these open source projects — Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats — but we welcome talks on any aspect of data exploration.

Elasticsearch and NLP

Through this exploratory talk we'll check out some of the NLP (Natural-Language Processing) techniques that will help us enrich our Elasticsearch documents with various useful metadata which can give us some additional context that we can use to help the user find what they are looking for.

Petar is a twenty-something software developer who loves solving complex problems and tinkering with bleeding edge. When he's not programming, he enjoys exploring foreign countries and playing video games.

50 shades of ES

What does it take to setup a 40+ node ES cluster able to handle tens of thousands of insertions while serving thousands of search queries? Our concrete use case will presented together with all its aspects from hardware consideration to client service implementation!

Denis is a software engineer at Inofbip for almost 4 years, where he works on several high throughput and mission critical systems. For about a year and a half he's been developing part of Infobip's data pipeline and managing several ElasticSearch clusters.
