Regardless of the speed of some technologies compared to others, we can often be unpleasantly surprised if we do not see the bigger picture before implementation. In our project, we decided to use ElasticSearch technology instead of SQL for one functionality, and from the title you can assume that the result was not very great...

Marko is a backend developer from Zagreb, working in one of development teams on the Njuškalo platform. He had been actively working with PHP and closely related technologies for seven years, and in addition to programming, loves to spend his free time with music and playing the guitar.

Petar is a Data Science team lead at Njuškalo with a master’s in physics and 6 years of experience in Data Science. He is passionate about solving complex business problems using artificial intelligence. His team has implemented a range of innovative AI-powered solutions that have improved user experience at Njuškalo.
