What we’re about
We’re delighted to have you join the Elastic global community! This group is for anyone interested in making data usable in real-time and at scale for use cases like security, observability, enterprise search, and many more, using our Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats products (https://www.elastic.co/products/).
Speak at a meetup:
The Community wants to hear from you! Present about your Elastic Stack stories, be it a 5-15 minute lightning talk or a detailed 25-45 minute technical presentation with Q&A. Our Speaker Guide (https://www.elastic.co/community/speaker-guide) is full of tips on giving a stellar presentation. If you’re interested, visit the elastic/call-for-meetups repo (https://github.com/elastic/call-for-meetups) or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Securing application using GitHub Advanced Security: The importance of developer security by Adrien Pessu (Senior Field Security Specialist @ Github)
In an era of ever-evolving cyber threats, the security of software applications has become a critical concern for organizations of all sizes. Developers play a pivotal role in this process, and their awareness and active involvement in security practices are paramount.
The earlier a vulnerability is handled, the less it will be a cost and a risk for the organization, that's why developers should focus on detection and remediation with the development lifecycle.
Join us to learn how GitHub Advanced Security fosters a culture of security-conscious developers and enables them to take ownership of the security of their applications.
Securing the Elastic Way: an InfoSec Perspective by Anthony Scarfe (Deputy CISO @ Elastic)
Join Anthony Scarfe to learn how Elastic’s InfoSec team approaches security. The Elastic InfoSec team is responsible for securing Elastic and responding to threats. We take a data driven approach and use our products everywhere we can. Harnessing the power and breadth of capabilities of the Elastic Stack, we are managing risk and performance metrics, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, even driving security implementation projects. Our approach has increased the Elastic InfoSec team’s level of visibility and enabled us to distribute security responsibilities across the organization, exponentially expanding our capability to protect Elastic from the threats of today and tomorrow. For the Elastic community of users and customers, this also translates to us delivering a better, leading security solution. We are excited to share our story….
