36 miles.
NOTE: GRAVEL ROADS.
The Loudoun Dinosaur gets its name from the shape of the longest version of this route. (See Ride With GPS links below).
This ride takes you on a country romp through some seldom traveled roads in northern Loudoun County, VA. We'll start in Purcellville and make our way to Lovettsville (our lunch stop). There are a good many gravel roads on both versions of this route.
About 2/3 of the way through the ride, we could stop by Doukenie Winery if there is any interest. In Lovettsville, there are a few restaurants and a 711.
Please find the Ride With GPS links below

The parking area is at the Busch Tabernacle, which is a historic skating rink that was built in 1903 and is still in use today! There are restrooms at the parking area as long as the skating rink is open. There are also restrooms at the lunch stop in Lovettsville.
FYI: membership of the Ride With GPS E-bike Lovers club is now free as www.ebikelovers.com is generating sufficient income from ads to cover the costs. Here is the link to activate your free membership:

The group stops a few times for slower riders to catch up.
For the E-bike Lovers group to be successful, we need to grow our membership carefully. Please feel free to invite other E-bike lovers, spread the word, and let's have fun.
As usual, non-assisted bikers are most welcome.

A NOTE ABOUT RIDING ON GRAVEL ROADS:
If you are riding a new bike, are new to biking generally, or have little experience on gravel roads, you should plan on taking your time. Please understand that gravel roads must be respected and navigated with an extra level of care, or you can seriously injure yourself. The key is to just take your time. We are never in a hurry, and you should go at a pace you are comfortable with.
