Group rides can be hard for electric motorcycle riders. Our bikes are just as fun as any other, maybe more fun, but they don't go as far, and we have to stop for longer to refill. What if the others on a group ride could understand? Well, now they can. Our rides are either all make rides short enough that an electric won't get stranded or group rides specifically for EVs with stops or starts near charging and the expectation of hour-plus stops if they exceed a one-charge range. This group is an offshoot of SportBike Riders of Tucson, and our rides adhere to the same rules. We'll ride to a fun road as a group, let loose once we get there, and come together to ride as a group once more to ride to our destination. A primary tenet of both organizations is that no one gets left behind. That includes crashes, breakdowns, or running out of juice. Everyone is welcome, whether you've been riding for 60 years or just started yesterday. Everyone is encouraged to ride thier own ride. If you can't keep up, don't sweat it, we'll wait for you. And though we are an offshoot of SRT, bikes of any design are welcome, even a gas one if you are so inclined.
