What we’re about
Are you interested in developing ideas in sustainable transport in Wellington? This is just the group for you. We'll be looking at 3 main areas to begin with;
1/ Implement an electric vehicle delivery service for predominantly inner-city businesses. This allows such businesses zero emissions deliveries.
2/ Discuss options for EV owners who don't have off street parking at their homes and are wanting a home charger. We'll present these ideas to the council.
3/ Promote more inter-city electric rail. While we're not a direct protest group we'll come up with service ideas for routes up to both Taranaki and the Hawkes Bay.
Any other ideas regarding sustainable transport in the region are welcome to be heard! We'll have the odd meeting, get togethers, bike rides and nature walks.
