Melenas nacieron en 2016 como parte de la efervescente escena musical de Pamplona y rápidamente se convirtieron, con su estilo reverb core, en una de las bandas que más ha dado qué hablar en la escena indie pop estatal e internacional. Su álbum de debut agotó dos ediciones sólo en España y fue reeditado internacionalmente a través del reconocido sello estadounidense Trouble In Mind Records, que publicó también su segundo disco, Días Raros y que en septiembre publicará su tercer LP, Ahora. Las canciones de Melenas, con guitarras, sintetizadores y voces envueltas en reverb, son un alarde de pop atemporal con estilo propio, fresco y a la vez con solera: brillantes melodías, frescas líneas de bajo, teclados vibrantes y baterías kraut se adornan con crepitantes phasers y se envuelven en armonías vocales celestiales

Melenas were born in 2016 as part of the effervescent Pamplona music scene and quickly became, with their reverb core style, one of the bands that has caused the most talk on the national and international indie pop scene. His debut album sold out two editions only in Spain and was reissued internationally through the renowned American label Trouble In Mind Records, which also published his second album, Días Raros and in September he will publish his third LP, Ahora. Melenas' songs, with guitars, synthesizers and voices wrapped in reverb, are a display of timeless pop with its own style, fresh and at the same time traditional: bright melodies, fresh bass lines, vibrant keyboards and kraut drums are adorned with crackling phasers and are wrapped in heavenly vocal harmonies
