ELEMENTAL LIFE - LONGEVITY - THE 6TH ELEMENT IS YOU

The basic principle of the ELEMENTAL LIFE approach is a life which is forever & inextricably connected to the elements within and around us. Understanding how to leverage this connection between the inner and outer worlds via the following modalities will enhance our longevity.

As a reminder the 5 elements are: Ether, Air, Fire, Water, Earth

- ELEMENTAL NUTRITION: the foods we put in our bodies connect us to the EARTH. Connecting to the wisdom of our bodies, understanding the elements that make up our inner world and nourishing our digestive fire, Agni. Through knowing our dominant dosha, our constitution, we can learn to adapt our food regime to the seasons and other changes to our outer world in order to sustain health and longevity.

- ELEMENTAL YOGA: Movement, Qi, feeds our ability to adapt to change, to modify the course of events, like the WATER flows. Connect to your body and the whole 5 elements through movement via a gentle but strong somatic flow connecting your mind, body and breath through maximum awareness, safe movement, bringing environmental aspects included but not limited to seasons, nature, cosmic events…

- ELEMENTAL BREATH: Our breath is our life force, our inner FIRE. Through pranayama and cyclical breathwork practices to connect you with your inner world through the most powerful and available tool of all: your own breathing. Each breath type connecting with a different or combination of elements, bringing either calm, intense emotional release, travelling through the mind, through the ages and through the timeline whilst being safely held in an intentional container.

- ELEMENTAL MEDITATION: When our mind is centred and we sit on the observer’s seat, we are connected to the ETHER element of space, to universal consciousness. From Yoga Nidra to meditations centred on breath, colours and visualisations, these practices can be a part of your toolbox for daily resets of the mind, bringing enhanced clarity and a soothed out nervous system.

- ELEMENTAL JOURNALLING: using free writing and creative writing as a therapeutic practice to express your deepest thoughts and release these whispers of ink onto a page. Processing these thoughts, emotions and creating in the process, connecting to the heart.
