Can We Save Our Planet Before Time Runs Out?

Have we lost the understanding that our indigenous ancestors had of the importance of mother earth? To support the current Gross National Product (GNP) as a measure of ‘success’, the resources of at least two planets is required and to continue to grow it, 3-4 planets will be required in the next decade. This is clearly not sustainable. Is there a way to restore balance before our planet succumbs to pollution, increasing temperatures, fires and floods that are driving many people from their homes?

In this discussion, we will examine what it might take to save the earth -- based upon the guidance provided by the sacred Writings of the Baha’i Faith, the most recent of the world’s independent religions. The Cause of God for today, Baha’is believe, involves fair allocation of resources based on the unification of all humankind, the world over, in material prosperity and spiritual peace. This event is free. All backgrounds, views, and beliefs are welcome and encouraged.
