Searching For Truth? Join in Community!

Truth is important! When we’re uncertain of what is true, it is more difficult to get out of bed, stand up straight, and take constructive action. When truth becomes certain, something we know for sure, in our hearts, we receive inspiration and motivation to act. But here’s the rub: More of us seem to live chronically in doubt, confused, less and less confident in our ability to arrive at definite and creative knowledge on our own. Confusion is paralyzing. Progress falters, and stops. The problem may be that we’re seeking truth on our own, alone, not in mature relationships with others. In this conversation, based on Teachings of the Baha’i Faith, we will explore the value of community in the investigation of truth as, together, we try our best to move toward a clearer understanding of what is true, opening our hearts to receive divine inspiration to act on what we know and contribute to progress, in both our own lives and the life of society.

In the spirit of this Faith, which calls for the unification of the whole of humankind within one world civilization, each vantage point on truth and all people – of every religion, culture, nationality, race, age, socioeconomic class, ethnicity, and gender – are welcome in this space …
