Elevator English - Friday Night English!

FRIDAY NIGHT ENGLISH is a place for adults to learn useful English phrases and grammar, test their English knowledge, practise their English speaking skills, meet new people and most importantly, have FUN!

On top of all of this, it is completely FREE. No hidden fees or pressure to sign up for anything.

All adults are welcome, from Absolute Beginners to English Pros. Joining in the Quizzes and Speaking practice is completely optional. If you want to hide in the shadows and just watch the lesson, no problem! However, if you do join the quiz, you will have the opportunity to win a free 60-minute one-to-one with me, Mike!

WHAT TO EXPECT / HOW DOES IT WORK?

First, you will need to REGISTER for the event by clicking the Zoom link now. Once you have registered for the event, the meeting link will be emailed to you.

We'll be using Zoom for the Meetup. When you join, your camera and microphone will be off automatically.

At the start, Mike (a qualified Native English Teacher) will be introducing the topic and giving some useful examples.

Then, we will play a fun quiz, which will test your understanding of the topic and phrases. We are using Slides With Friends, which is free to use. You can play on your phone or with your computer. It is super easy to use.

After that, we will spin "The Marvellous English Wheel of Destiny" to decide who wins the Free One-to-One 60-minute Session with Mike! The top 10 participants will have a chance to win.

Finally, you will have the chance to practice your English speaking skills in small groups and chat with me, Mike. You can drop out of the meetup whenever you like.
