What we’re about
Welcome to the Elgin/Chicagoland Area Photographers Meetup group! Our community is dedicated to photographers with interests in street photography, portraiture, outdoor photography, landscape photography workshops, nature, and wildlife photography. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, this group is for you. Come join us to share your passion for photography, learn new techniques, and meet like-minded individuals. Let's explore the beautiful scenery of our area together and create stunning images. All are welcome!
I have some extra equipment if need be, and I am willing to teach what I know to any new or experienced photographers. So, if you're considering photography as a possible hobby, this would be a good/free place to learn. If you're experienced, then it would be a good place to share/receive feedback, learn, and help push your photography further. I believe photography is better enjoyed with other photographers. If this Meetup grows, then we will plan trips further out in the future. Please share any ideas or thoughts to make it a better Meetup.
