What we’re about
The purpose of this group is to help the women of Elgin Illinois to meet people and to make friends. We plan on having a variety of events and get togethers, such as coffee meetups, ladies nights out, sip and paint classes, pottery, a walking group, etc. We also have a connected group called Elgin Ladies Learn Spanish and we will have more groups to follow including a sign language group. There is a $3 fee for any in person meetups that you choose to attend. This helps offset the fees charged by meetup to run a group and cover any supplies and time spent, as well as encourage people to attend the meetups that they rsvp to as, in the past, we have had huge issues with no shows. However, if for some reason, you cannot afford the fee and would like to attend an event, the fee can be waived.
