Tonight's talks are:
Nerves Ecosystem State - Tools and basics
A walk through the basics of Nerves in the current ecosystem, tooling, and a powerful zip of tips for beginners who want to start building or learn about IoT Elixir ecosystem capabilities: Toolshed, custom_system, cross-compiling, livebook, phx, monitoring.
Building Better Elixir Applications with the Ash Framework
The Ash framework has been around for a while now but has been rapidly gaining developer attention since it's 2.0 release last year. In this lightning talk I'll try to demystify what Ash is, what it's goals are and how it can help you build ambitious Elixir applications with more confidence.
Why I built Ash Authentication
Recently I released the first public version of the `ash_authentication` package, which makes user authentication a first-class citizen inside the Ash ecosystem. This talk is about why I built it and a short demonstration of how to use it.
Elixir Sydney is made possible by our sponsors:
- Alembic - Food, drinks, meetup organisation/management
- Microsoft Reactor - Venue and AV equipment
Alembic financially supports various open source projects in the Elixir/BEAM community, like Ash Framework. If you have any development projects that need expertise, please get in touch!
