For the May edition of our meetup, we are teaming up with Elixir Melbourne (https://www.meetup.com/Elixir-Melbourne/) to have an "Elixir Australia" online meetup, and this means a change of date to later this month on May 20!

It doesn't matter where you are in Australia (or the world!), come and spend some time with your fellow alchemists over video chat, learn some new things about Elixir, and generally have a great evening.

We will be kicking off at 7pm AEST, which is a little later than usual, but we're hoping that this time will allow more of our friends in western and central Australia to join us.

Unfortunately, the logistics and budgeting of food catering for you all is a bit too much for us and our sponsors to handle, so feel free to support your local pizzeria or other takeaway joint, and BYO :-)

Event Sourcing with Commanded

Fiona will share what she has learnt on Event Sourcing and implementing it with a library called Commanded.

Randori mob programming exercise

  • Julian Doherty :: @madlep

Julian will run a mob programming session using the Randori (https://medium.com/connected/teaching-code-with-randori-51ac9a7fe7be) format.

If you want to participate in the programming mob, make sure you register for a free account at https://repl.it/ and login to get access to the realtime shared repl before the event
