Welcome to the December 2021 Elixir Australia meetup, our final one for this year before we return again in February 2022!

We've got a couple of great talks prepared for you to round out the year covering some topics you will not want to miss!

ALF - Flow-based Application Layer Framework

ALF is a set of control-flow abstractions built on top Elixir GenStage which allows writing programs following the Flow-Based Programming (FBP) approach.

It provides a simple and expressive way of presenting logic as sequential processing of "information packets" (IPs) (or, simply, messages or events), and thus brings high design-, coding-, and run-time observability.

The core functionality of ALF is now ready, and Anton will be giving an introduction to it.

Build a Slack app using Phoenix

Long time Elixir Australia contributor Qing will share his journey of how he built a slack app to integrate with the video-meet application his company develops.
