What we’re about
Elkhorn Paddlers To promote the appreciation for the recreational value of wilderness canoeing, to encourage and promote navigation of wild and semi-wild rivers by canoe and kayak; to promote the conservation of such rivers by cooperation with local and national organizations whose purpose and interests are in the fields of conservation and the preservation of wilderness; to promote the safety of the sport through training and information to members; and to place the main emphasis on conservation and preservation of the North, South and Main Forks of the Elkhorn. The Elkhorn Paddlers travel in canoes more often than not. Our trips are usually on Class I and II water in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee.
