Elkhorn Creek "Introduction Paddle"

Join experienced Elkhorn Paddlers as we navigate approx. 11 miles of a Central KY treasure at the peak of paddling season. NO Experience necessary. You will need to provide your own boat and gear (buy, borrow, rent). NOTE that times published here are not yet set and actual times are TBD. Those signing up will receive updates on meet time and water/weather conditions as the trip gets closer.

Weather conditions have been sporadic this year causing creeks and streams to be "unfloatable". There is a chance of cancelation if water level is too low - or too high. Be aware.

Please be sure you can make this trip before signing up; actual start time will be set closer to the trip and provided to those participating during the week of the paddle event. Also note that we have started using a private take-out on the creek so there will be a charge to park there.

NOTE: the published start time of 10am is just a place holder - weather conditions and participant count will determine the actual meet time which will be sent to participants the week prior to the paddle.
