Trails and Trash

Join FEIS at our annual Trails and Trash event on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, at 10 a.m. We will meet at the Tawayik Lake Shelter in Elk Island National Park to organize groups to work on several local trails. Please wear gloves and weather-appropriate clothing; we will supply large garbage bags and trash picker-uppers. We will spend a couple of hours picking up trash on designated trails and following it up with a BBQ, hot dogs, and drinks supplied by the Friends.
