Guided Snowshoe Hike

Join biologist Arthur Whiting and the Friends of Elk Island Society for a snowshoe hike across Astotin Lake to Long Island, where we will chat about and identify wildlife and wildlife signs. We will meet at the Shoreline Trailhead (off Administration Road) on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at 10 AM and meander until about 1 PM. Bring snacks, liquids, and lots of questions. Be dressed appropriately for the weather and snow. The Friends will provide snowshoes for those who don't have their own. Free admission to the Park.
