Family Day

The Friends of Elk Island Society will be at Elk Island Park golf course clubhouse on Family Day. Join us on Monday, February 16, 2026 between 10 am and 2 pm for hot dogs, hot chocolate, and s’mores. Parks staff will have an outdoor fire pit and hot dog roasting sticks available. FEIS volunteers will set up a display table at the event with skulls, scat, brochures, and stickers. One guided snowshoe hike with biologist Arthur Whiting will happen at 11 am. Hope to see you there!
