Join us for FREE Kyokushin Karate sessions every Tuesday, 7:30pm at the Ellen Melville Centre.
Open to everyone aged 12 and over, these sessions offer a friendly and supportive space to learn karate, build confidence and develop self-defence skills.

Join us every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, 5:30 - 7:30pm at the Ellen Melville Centre for free, K-pop dance workshops. 💃🕺

Run in partnership with NZ Education Centre and NZKDA Group, these free workshops are open to all skill levels. It’s a great way to learn new moves, enjoy the music, and connect with others in a friendly and welcoming environment. Everyone’s welcome.

EMC English Conversation Club
Thursdays, 4 to 6pm
Free. No registration needed. Everyone welcome

Whether you want to improve your English or you're a native speaker keen to help others, this is a great place to connect and build friendships.
This is not a classroom. It’s a relaxed community space where you can share stories, practise everyday English, and learn about life, work, and culture in New Zealand and other countries.
Each session is guided by an experienced facilitator and supported by friendly volunteers.
What to expect:
• Casual, friendly conversations on real-life topics
• Supportive facilitators and volunteers
• Language learning through connection, not pressure
