A Dip into Philosophy: Analytic v Continental Philosophy

Don't we all just LOVE philosophy? When we talk about meta-philosophy, we can philosophise about philosophy. We can talk whether we are actually talking about anything at all.

And yet, we can also delve into some of the deepest questions of life and existence. Today we are going to ask a seemingly simple question - are you a fan of analytic philosophy or of continental philosophy? You can get a brief overview of the difference in the video below.

So why is this important? One of the greatest games of soccer ever played was Germany v Brazil in one of the world cup finals. What made the game great, was that each team represented a style and interpretation of how soccer should be played.

Same game, but different ways of interpreting and playing it, and both teams challenging each other's conceptions.

Same with continental v analytic philosophy. Bring it on!
