In solidarity and shared purpose, our community is invited to join the Out of the Darkness Walk hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). This incredible event takes steps towards preventing suicide and offering support and healing to those affected.

### Why We Walk Together

• The Out of the Darkness Walks send a powerful message: no one walks alone. By coming together, participants honor loved ones, support mental well‑being, and contribute to real impact in policy, programs, and healing.
• As an atheist community, we often build connection and shared values through reason, empathy, and actions—this event aligns beautifully with those values.

### What to Expect

• Date & Location: Oct 25th 10.00 am Album/Eastwood Park, El Paso, TX
• Fundraising & Rewards: While optional, raising $100 or more often earns you a commemorative walk T‑shirt, as well as visibility for your support and shared stories on social media using hashtags like `#HopeWalksHere` and `#OutoftheDarkness` AFSP - Community & Campus Walks+1.
