This donation-based workshop offers a gentle, accessible introduction to how stress and trauma can develop over time — and how they are commonly stored in the body and nervous system, often without our conscious awareness.
This is not a fitness class and not talk therapy.
No prior experience is required.
The session is designed for people who are curious about trauma, stress, and nervous-system health and want practical, body-centered understanding without pressure to perform, share, or push beyond comfort.

### WHAT WE’LL COVER

Part 1: Education (discussion-based)
We’ll explore, in clear and approachable language:

  • What trauma is — and what it isn’t
  • How ongoing stress, overwhelm, and life experiences can become held in the body
  • Why the nervous system plays a central role in tension, reactivity, fatigue, and shutdown
  • How the body naturally seeks regulation and release when it feels safe

This portion is educational and conversational. Participation is optional.

Part 2: Experiential Practice (gentle & optional)
The second portion of the session introduces simple, body-based practices designed to support natural release and nervous-system settling.

  • Movements are slow, gentle, and self-paced
  • Everything is optional — you may observe, rest, or modify at any time
  • The emphasis is on choice, safety, and listening to the body, not pushing or forcing

You are always in control of your level of participation.
