Directions:
Take I-480
Get off at Ridge Road. (Exit 15)
Go south on Ridge Road
Turn LEFT on to Powers Blvd.
Library is on the left side of the road.

ELVIS on the big screen!

We will be showing the movie "King Creole" (Released by Paramount Pictures in 1958; ELVIS' 4th movie, and the last one he made before his induction into the U.S. Army) on the big screen.

Nineteen-year-old high school student Danny Fisher
(Elvis) works before and after school to support his father (Dean Jagger) and his sister Mimi (Jan Shepard)
After being told that he will not graduate, Danny drops out of school to work full time. After a club owner named Maxie Fields (Walter Matthau) hears Danny sing at the "King Creole" nightclub, he wants to hire him to sing at his nightclub "The Blue Shade".

In addition to Elvis, the cast includes Dolores Hart, Dean Jagger, Carolyn Jones, Walter Matthau, Jan Shepard, Vic Morrow, Jack Grinnage, and others.
