Emacs ATX is a meetup devoted to exploring the vast and ever expanding universe of the extensible, customizable, free/libre editor Emacs. We are also a support group for people with Emacs-related issues. Our goal is to make everyone more productive.

Parking

You can park in the Omni garage, directly under Capital Factory (enter from Brazos) for a flat fee. Don't forget to ask for a parking validation card from one of the front desks.

Infosessions

Eric will discuss Emacs and Modal Editing - Alternative ways to edit text in Emacs with vi emulation and beyond.

Shad will discuss using Eshell, the shell-like command interpreter implemented in Emacs Lisp.

Norman will discuss using cloudmacs to selfhost your Emacs and access it in browser.
