Talk 1: Develop a Deep Intuition of Transformers Based on 5 Key Principles and Leverage It for Building Agentic Systems

There's a lot of buzz around AI, and it can seem hard to keep up with the latest developments. However, there are really only two things that truly matter:

1. The AI model, the interface between the human world and the machine: It understands language, can interpret images and voice, reason and plan (to some extent), and respond in a meaningful way.
2. Integration of the AI model with the existing (normalized) IT infrastructure.

Once integrated, you end up with automated workflows, agentic systems, RAG, or whatever terminology you prefer.

We will dive into the transformer, the architecture on which current AI models are based. I'll take you on a journey through the 5 key (and admittedly insanely great) ideas that have fueled the AI revolution. This will foster a "deep intuition" about what happens inside the model, which was once considered a "black box."

I will also shed some light on how we can persuade the model, with its probabilistic nature, to integrate into our existing normalized IT infrastructure.

The insights and intuition you gain will help you design, evaluate, and troubleshoot your AI systems effectively.
