10 KM Hike in Faxe + Visting Limestone Quarry
Details
63 million years ago, the bottom of the limestone quarry was covered by 100 meters of sea, where all kinds of animal and plant organisms in the water have caused the large amount of lime that can be experienced there today.
This time we'll be visiting the "Limestone Quarry" in Faxe as well as "Stubberup Skov" a beautiful forest in Faxe.
We will meet at Faxe Syd Station on Saturday May 9th at 10:00.
Please remember to bring food and water with you, as you might not find any available on the hike.

- We'll be leaving at 10:00, If you expect to arrive after 10:00, please let me know either by leaving a comment or via DM, at least one hour earlier.
- We walk at a comfortable pace; there's no rush. The goal is to enjoy the hike; it's not a race.
- We're going to take one or two breaks along the hike.
- Please wear a comfortable shoes, preferably hiking shoes.
